A Story Before Bed

Just a reminder that we are still offering the Story Before Bed service! Record yourself reading an e-book and then send the recording to a loved one who can play the recording from their device(s) as many times as they want! We have a laptop for you use as well. 🙂 Reach out to us if you’re interested in this service which aims to keep families connected through stories!  

Board of Trustees Meeting

Our monthly Board of Trustees meeting will now be held on the first Friday of every month at 6:00pm. Our next meeting will be Friday July 6th. Thank you!

Sewing Machines!

Do you have a sewing machine in good working order that you don’t need or use anymore? Consider donating it to the library! We’d like to offer some sewing programs and need a couple machines to get us started! Read 1000 Books B4K Program For Infants, Toddlers and Pre-K Children

The Lang Memorial Library is proud to join the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten  Program.   Parents or guardians  simply register their infant, toddler, or  Pre-K child at the library’s circulation desk.  They will receive a reading packet including a list of  suggested books to read to your child and reading log. Then, after each 100 books read,  present  the log to library staff and receive three building blocks as  a prize…

“Knot” Just Knitting Night.

Whether you knit, crochet, cross-stitch, would like to learn (or watch) you are sure to have a good time at the Lang Memorial Library’s knitting night held the last Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm.
